Here’s a picture I took yesterday. Can you guess what it is? (Click on it to enlarge.)

These are amazing trees. On their long needles they extract tiny amounts of water from the air, resulting in about 200 litres per tree and year, which they pass on to the ground surrounding them.

This path was built by slaves a couple of centuries ago. They were promised freedom upon completion of this streneous project. Instead they were thrown off the cliffs.
